The Everyday
11 tracks, 56 mins | House, Electronica
Released: 2020
My first album release. A mixture of classic house, jack house, electronica, and a touch of drum and bass.
Deep House
House track with old school Chicago-style bass and beats.
House Tonight
Old-skool style house track, plenty of pads, smooth.
Everything
House music track, lots of minor chords, progressive and deep, vocal samples throughout.
Jackin' (Sorted Mix)
A Jacking House track with a simultaneous 80's old school flavour and a contemporary feel all in one.
Transfigure (The Everyday Mix)
Although this track is 120bpm you wouldn't know it when it starts! Smooth pads and a subtle melody evolve into 'in yer face' hard house with bells ringing, and a lead that sounds like a vocoded puppet doing scat in the background, and then after all that back to the smooth pads.
Bright Sunset
Lots of smooth pads, an old school Chicago house beat and bass, with a melodic top line, moving from minor to major at different stages.
Where Are You? (feat. Jessy)
A house track featuring my 9-year-old daughter - Jessy - saying "where are you?". .
Knight Stalker
4:4 house beat, with layered samples, pads and bass. Sounds a bit Tangerine Dreamy.
Scavenger
Dubstep beat and bass, layered with pads to create a chilled vibe.
Tonic
Rolling bass with two different drum and bass drum beats, with an overlaying lead which sounds guitar-ish.
Juice
A slowed down drum and bass beat with a background pulse makes for a breakbeat-type rhythm, layered over with minor and major pads.
